Our Safety Culture at a Glance 

SECURE strives for an accident free working environment by compeleting deatiled on-site hazard assessments and implementing appropriate saftey control measures at all work sites, creating an environment where employees, contractors and the public are exposed to minimal risk. We perform behaviour based, leadership training and use the key performance indicators (KPI) model of tracking and controlling all incidents, including near-miss reporting. At SECURE we share safe practices at all levels, encouraging employees to remember why they work safely, constantly reflecting on and refining our safety culture.

Proactivity is Fundamental 

SECURE focuses on working together to create people that are mindful of their surroundings, keep up on safety policy changes, and take proper precautions for themselves and team members whenever necessary. Proactive measures include – tailgate meetings, safety meetings, safety moments. 

We use a Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) program that utilizes the SECURE corporate values as a foundation in order to encourage behaviour in the workplace that establishes a safe environment for all employees, sub-contractors and visitors. In order to positively affect and reinforce safety at SECURE workplaces, the BBS program is comprised of a cyclical process encompassing consistient worker observation, feedback and behaviour trend analysis. Some examples of our BBS program in day to day practice are the following:
