Allen Gransch - President & CEO
Allen Gransch was appointed President of SECURE in November 2022 and CEO in May 2024. Allen has been with SECURE since September 2007 in various leadership roles, serving most recently as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of both Midstream Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions operating segments. Prior to his role as COO, Allen held the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and EVP, Corporate Development.
Prior to joining SECURE, Allen was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 1999 to 2007, Allen held various positions from Associate to Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Calgary, Alberta, Georgetown, Cayman Islands, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Allen is a Chartered Accountant and attended the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and his Master of Professional Accounting degree.
Chad Magus - Chief Financial Officer
Chad Magus was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2017. Chad joined SECURE in June 2014 and most recently served as SECURE’s Vice President of Corporate Finance.
Prior to joining SECURE, Chad spent over 10 years with an oil and gas exploration and production company in a variety of finance, accounting and financial reporting roles and prior thereto was a senior accountant with KPMG LLP. Chad is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Corey Higham - Chief Operating Officer
Corey was appointed Chief Operating Officer of SECURE in November 2022. Corey has been with SECURE since July 2007 in various leadership roles within the corporation. Since May 2020, Corey held the position of SVP of Midstream Infrastructure Operations, during that time his responsibilities included facility operations, corporate and field sales, engineering and construction, and health, safety, and regulatory affairs.
Prior to SECURE, Corey held various roles at Tervita Corporation (2004-2007) and worked for a private engineering consulting company from 1998 to 2004. Corey is a registered Professional Geoscientist and holds a Masters of Engineering from the University of Calgary.
James Anderson - Senior Vice President, Specialty Chemicals
James Anderson has held the position of VP of Specialty Chemicals since joining SECURE in 2011.
Prior to joining SECURE, James was one of the founding partners of Alliance Energy Services, and from 2009 to 2011 acted as the VP of Drilling Fluids at Marquis Alliance until the SECURE acquisition in 2011. From 1997 to 2009, James held various positions in the drilling services industry including roles as a Field Engineer, Technical Services, Operations, Technical Sales and VP Operations. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Lethbridge.
Rhonda Rudnitski - Vice President, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG)
Rhonda is responsible for evolving SECURE’s ESG strategy and integrating
it into all aspects of its business. This includes setting ESG goals and targets that will make SECURE’s business more sustainable by reducing risk, encouraging innovation, building business resilience, and identifying ESG related opportunities to enhance customer service. SECURE’s ESG strategy mandates the creation of opportunities to offer services that will help its customers reduce their environmental impact and to be an integral part of the energy transformation.
She has nearly 30 years of environmental industry experience. Prior to joining SECURE in 2021, she held positions with increasing scope and leadership responsibility at Tervita Corporation and Newalta Corporation. Within these organizations her portfolios have included: engineering, regulatory and compliance, health and safety, process safety management, closed sites/asset retirement, community relations, and indigenous relations. She has participated in various government created stakeholder groups that focused on updating existing regulations or developing new ones.
Prior to Newalta, she held various field-based operations and regulatory compliance positions at Waste Management Inc. Rhonda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program from Ryerson University, and is a registered professional engineer.
